Katya is a talented artist and photographer in Capital City. She makes her first and only appearance "Desperately Seeking Lisa."
She was voiced by Molly Shannon.
History
Patty and Selma with Lisa encountered Julian, Katya, and Lars in Capital City. While Lisa was conversing with Julian, Katya introduced herself and told Lisa that she had traveled to Springfield to take photographs for her award-winning exhibition, "Freaks of the Field." Katya invited Patty, Selma, and Lisa to a party the artists were hosting in their loft located in Nohosogoblojoto. However, she was rejected, as Patty and Selma wanted to see "Cranberry: The Ocean Spray Juice-ical." However, that evening, Patty and Selma weren't feeling well and took a rest in the hotel, therefore Lisa stealthily snuck out of the hotel to join the party.
The quartet headed to the loft for the party. Everyone took art pieces to move for an exhibit at the Museum of Loft-Based Transgressive Progressivism, where Lisa ended up helping to move them and Katya gave her a hat. After setting up the exhibit, Julian informed Lisa that they were running late for the next event - watching Roach, a play based on the Kafka story The Metamorphosis. After disrupting the play, Lisa met Tracy Letts, who, following Jullian's suggestion that she enroll at the Horace Frick Academy, revealed that he was on the board of trustees. However, Lisa lacked the funds to go, so Jullian, Katya, and Lars took her to Lacey Van Aster, who provided Lisa with a bursary check, enabling her attendance.
When Katya and the other artists were chasing Lisa, she hid under a balloon but accidentally pressed the inflate button for the balloon and found herself perched atop it as the artists approached her. After Lisa ripped up the check and Jullian insulted Katya, she pulled out a knife and cut the rope, setting Lisa free to float back to Springfield.
